I step out of work. The air is warm and smells of rain. In the distance are echoes of thunder. I walk between the low industrial buildings. A noise is building up, like a wall of rain and wind slowly approaching. It hits suddently, shaking the trees, throwing at me sand and dry leaves as sharp as paper. I have to stop myself from smiling too wide while I push back against the air.
Shower thought: I have tweetdelete.net nuking all my tweets older than three months now.

👉🏾 let the user have toots get set to listener-only/direct instead of deleted
👉🏾 maybe an option to mail some kind of archive to the user before they're deleted (make sure this mail doesn't get cached on the instance's side, as an admin I do not want to have to keep track of any more of your private info than I absolutely must)

I'm thinking of writing a blog post in which I interview some fediverse admins/mods about what it's like to manage communities. Gonna come up with some questions of my own, but if you have specific inquiries you'd like answered, let me know
We were down for a bit, but that is because I purging the cache of images from remote servers. I had to do save space. We should be good on HD size for awhile.
Speaking of server issues, I think we need to have a spooky meeting. It seems like we have relatively small number of active accounts. I'm totally cool with that, but I want to raise the idea of purging the unactive accounts closing membership to our instance unless people ask me. What do folks think?
I’m back in coban from our field site…they have wine here :D :D
I did it...i put words in the book proposal document. That's the hardest part. In my experience, once the ball starts rolling, it rolls
